'Stories We Tell' is a series of mindful photography workshops that enhance wellbeing while creating bridges between communities.
Through playful assignments, participants learn new skills, share their personal stories, and connect with their community in a playful way.
“Pierre’s photography workshop granted me a creative outlet during the onset of precarious times.
The experience was rooted in community.
Everyone, unique in identity, lens and interpretation, had a platform to share and engage with each other’s creations.
It was inspiring to be apart of, a form of mutual aid through art.
Thank you Pierre for this experience.” Luna

“Learnt so much about photography but, surprisingly, about myself through the different themed weekly assignments. Pierre is a friendly, encouraging and patient facilitator who creates an inclusive and safe place for participants to explore and share stories behind the photos taken each week. Pierre uncovered the creative side in me that I didn’t know I had; as a consequence, it has given me so much self-confidence. ‘Photo therapy’ also helped with my mental health.”
